Mission

The Council of Professional Associations of Psychologists envisions a united and empowered community of psychological associations that leads with integrity, collaborates strategically, manages shared risks effectively, and leverages collective resources to advance psychological advocacy and excellence across Canada.

Our Members Say It Best

“Advocating for the needs of all Canadian psychologists is important to psychological associations coast to coast.  Through CPAP all associations have a mechanism to develop consistent messages and leverage our collective voice.”
Dr. Judi Malone
Psychologists’ Association of Alberta
“Through my collaboration with CPAP I am able to network with other psychological associations across Canada.  This is invaluable because I can learn from the experiences of my peers and contribute my insights to their efforts.  Representing a small province and association CPAP has provided us with resources and supports and helped us feel connected to the rest of the country.”
Dr. Janine Hubbard
Association of Psychology Newfoundland and Labrador
“CPAP provides me with the means to access trusted, credible information and resources to help my association grow and develop.  We would be re-inventing the wheel without this opportunity.”
Dr. Jason Ramsay
Ontario Psychological Association
